Largely due to the widespread use of computers in offices, factories, homes, and schools, RSI's are injuries or disorders affecting connective tissue, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joint cartilage and spinal discs.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has called RSI, Repetitive Strain Injury, the leading cause of occupational illness in the United States. RSI has affected workers in many areas: sports, music, auto workers, garment workers, grocery packers and assembly line workers.
